Technical Marketing Manager

FTE Remote USA

Position Overview

As a part of technical marketing, you will use your skills and excellent work ethic to help drive business and keep our tremendous momentum going. You'll partner with product marketing, product management, sales, and technical teams to develop industry and competitive analysis materials to help our sales and product teams thrive. You will be the "go-to" person for all things competitive.

Primary Responsibilities
• Track competitors and develop high-value sales tools such as quick reference guides and competitive overviews.
• Collaborate with marketing managers on positioning and messaging that differentiates products in the application security market.
• Build and use market intelligence by understanding new and emerging buyers, how they buy, and their buying criteria, and by understanding the competition and how to successfully position.
• Participate in demand generation and digital marketing efforts to build and execute successful marketing programs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Experience working with enterprise security and/or cloud security products.
• Good teamwork and negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively across teams and organizations in a global environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong acumen for technology and a high aptitude to learn new technologies and marketing methodologies.
• You have a BA/BS degree with 3+ years of meaningful experience in product marketing, technical marketing, or competitive intelligence.
• You can travel 10% to 20% of the time to support sales, events, tradeshows, and conferences.
