Guidewire Solution Architects - 2 roles Contract or CTH role - 6+ months Location ideally hybrid near Worcester County, MA Client prefers candidates to be local but will entertain out of state candidates if have the "must have skills"

Two positions:

· Commercial – This team supports our commercial platforms, Guidewire Cloud, As 400(PL Billing/Claims and internal System for MBOP billing and Claims. We are working on plans to move everything to Guidewire Cloud over the next few years, Guidewire knowledge is a must have. The person to be working 80% of the time with the Product team and 20% of the time with the Architecture Team.

·Policy/Billing/Claims - This is our core insurance processing system in Guidewire 9.10 on prem. We have a project starting this year to move this to the Cloud. Guidewire knowledge is a must have. the person to be working 80% of the time with the Product team and 20% of the time with the Architecture Team.

Responsible to design and support the implementation of technical solutions that align with business needs and organizational goals. Translate business requirements into technical designs, ensuring the solution is scalable, secure, and reliable. This includes analyzing business needs, evaluating potential solutions, selecting the appropriate technology stack within MAPFRE's ecosystem.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Solution Design: Develop comprehensive technical solutions that address business challenges and align with organizational objectives.
  • Architecture Development: Create architecture designs, system diagrams, and technical documentation outlining the structure, components, and integration points of the solution.
  • Technology Selection: Choose the appropriate technology stack, considering project constraints, performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and direction to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Clearly communicate technical solutions and their impact to stakeholders, including business and technical teams.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks within the solution design, such as scalability challenges, security vulnerabilities, and integration issues.
  • Performance Analysis: Perform performance analysis on implemented solutions and identify areas for optimization.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Document best practices and share knowledge with other team members.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges related to the solution.
  • Solution Lifecycle Management: Oversee the solution's lifecycle, including implementation, maintenance, and enhancement.
  • Compliance: Ensure solutions adhere to relevant standards, regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with various teams, including Technical Project Managers, Engineers, and Scrum masters , to ensure successful solution
