Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Inventory Specialist for a contract position in Florida. The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels, ensuring accurate tracking, and supporting inventory-related processes within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Analyze inventory data to forecast future needs and prevent overstock or stock outs.
- Collaborate with purchasing and warehouse teams to streamline inventory operations.
- Prepare and present inventory reports to management.
- Implement inventory control procedures and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in inventory management or related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certification or degree in supply chain, logistics, or related area preferred.
