Leveraging industry-leading architecture frameworks and best practices, you will ensure seamless integration, scalability, and resilience of BTP-based applications and services across OPG’s SAP landscape. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, utility experts, and the ERP team to deliver high-impact solutions that support OPG’s Strategic Transformation Roadmap (STR).
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise & Technical Architecture (TOGAF/COBIT/SAP Activate/BTP):
• Lead the design and governance of SAP BTP architecture, ensuring robust alignment across business, application, data, and technology domains.
• Architect and integrate BTP services—including SAP Integration Suite, Extension Suite, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP Data Warehouse Cloud—with S/4HANA, ECC, and third-party systems.
• Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native solutions leveraging SAP BTP, SAP HANA Cloud, and related technologies.
• Define and govern data models, data flows, and integration strategies to ensure quality, integrity, and compliance with data governance standards.
• Apply SAP Activate, agile methodologies, and industry best practices to accelerate delivery and maximize value realization from BTP solutions.
• Utilize tools such as LeanIX for enterprise architecture management and Signavio for business process modeling to support architecture deliverables.
Solution Innovation & Enablement:
• Drive the adoption of BTP innovations (e.g., low-code/no-code, workflow automation, AI/ML services, API management) to enable business agility and digital transformation.
• Analyze and translate business strategies into BTP-enabled solutions, supporting OPG’s transformation roadmap.
• Lead solution design, prototyping, integration, testing, and deployment for BTP-based applications and extensions.
• Provide expert guidance on BTP security, compliance, and best practices for cloud development and operations.
Project Management, Agile Delivery & Team Collaboration:
• Collaborate with project managers, scrum masters, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between BTP architecture, delivery, and business objectives.
• Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative, high-performing, and innovative environment.
• Work closely with developers, functional consultants, and business analysts to translate requirements into technical BTP solutions.
• Support agile ceremonies, project planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Continuous Learning, Thought Leadership & Initiative:
• Champion a culture of continuous learning by staying current with SAP BTP innovations, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
• Share thought leadership, best practices, and lessons learned within OPG and the broader SAP community.
• Demonstrate initiative and a self-driven attitude in identifying opportunities, solving complex problems, and driving projects forward with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in SAP architecture, including at least 3 years focused on SAP BTP, cloud solutions, and integration.
• Proven experience designing and implementing SAP BTP solutions, including Integration Suite, Extension Suite, SAP Analytics Cloud, and Data Warehouse Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of TOGAF, COBIT, SAP Activate, and agile frameworks (such as SAFe, Scrum, Kanban), with practical experience in applying these methodologies.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and integration of SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori, SAP HANA Cloud, API management, and security best practices.
• Familiarity with LeanIX, Signavio, and other architecture and process modeling tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• SAP BTP certification(s) and additional certifications in TOGAF, COBIT, or agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe Agilist) are highly desirable.
Key Competencies:
