The Risk Mitigation Lead

The Agile Tester is the "Quality Guardian." You are a technical specialist who engineering a safety net for the product. You don't just "test"; you coordinate a strategy that spans the entire Testing Triangle. As the right hand to the Product Owner, you represent the user’s perspective while possessing the technical depth to partner with developers on automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Strategy: Create and execute plans for Unit, Integration, and UI testing layers.
• Shift-Left Advocacy: Work with developers to prevent risks before code is even written.
• Automation Engineering: Use AI and tools like Postman to build robust API and integration test suites.
• Lifecycle Management: Own the Defect Lifecycle and provide clear risk assessments for releases.
• Functional Expertise: Become the "subject matter expert" on how the system should behave for the user.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Dev and AI assisted testing experience.
• Solid experience with C#, Unit test framework-MSTest, Postman for API testing, Playwright.
• Technical Literacy: Understanding of HTTP, Injection testing, and basic Object-Oriented programming.
• Detail Obsession: Ability to spot edge cases that AI and standard unit tests might miss.
• Collaborative Spirit: Comfortable working at the intersection of Product (PO) and Engineering (Dev).

RACI Profile: The Quality Guardian

• Accountable (A): The Testing Triangle Strategy, Defect lifecycle tracking, and Release Readiness.
• Responsible (R): Creating test plans, API/Integration testing (Postman), and functional validation.
• Consulted (C): Acceptance Criteria definition (PO) and "Shift-Left" strategies (PE).
• Informed (I): Daily code commits and architectural ADRs.
