Job Description

We are currently seeking for a Director of Operations (CEO Track) for one of our clients - Las Vegas Construction Leader

This is a CEO track position for a high-performing individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Location : Las Vegas
Compensation : Open for discussion - depending on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Operations & Strategy: Oversee all aspects of construction operations, from pre-construction and estimating to project execution and delivery. Develop and implement long-term operational plans that drive efficiency, profitability, and growth.
  • Champion Growth & Innovation: Identify and implement strategic initiatives to expand our presence in public works projects while exploring new market opportunities.
  • Build a High-Performing Team: Foster a collaborative and results-oriented culture that attracts, develops, and retains top talent. Provide leadership, mentorship, and coaching to team members, preparing them for future leadership roles.
  • Maintain Client Excellence: Lead the development and execution of strategies to ensure exceptional client satisfaction and build long-term relationships.
  • Financial Acumen: Partner with the leadership team on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to drive sound business decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master's degree a plus).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction industry with a proven track record of success in leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of all phases of the construction process, from estimating and pre-construction to project management and execution.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen with a focus on growth and profitability.

Must Have Skills:

  • Experience in public works construction projects.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
  • Strong financial analysis and budgeting skills.
  • Effective stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Visionary thinking with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
