Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Entry of monthly activity into QuickBooks including reconciliation of checking accounts, credit cards, etc.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial reports to leadership, ownership, and internal and external stakeholders.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Develop and own the company's budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for cost control and revenue enhancement.

Internal Controls:

  • Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial transactions.
  • Implement policies and procedures to minimize financial risk and fraud.

Payroll &Benefits

  • Process payroll and maintain accurate records in Gusto (HR Platform).
  • Manage administration of benefits.
  • Manage all paperwork required throughout the employee lifecycle, from interview to departure.

Inter-company Transactions

  • Manage and execute intercompany transfers between four entities

Audit and External Reporting:

  • Coordinate annual financial audits and work with external auditors.
  • Prepare and submit required financial information to regulatory agencies

Financial Analysis:

  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement.
  • Provide recommendations for enhancing financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with President to advance improvements

Cash Flow Management:

  • Manage and optimize cash flow to ensure the organization's liquidity and financial stability for growth and returns to stakeholders.
  • Manage and update Statement of Cash Flow Statement daily for leadership and ownership.


  • Participate and contribute in leadership meetings
  • Be a day-to-day positive representation of the culture
  • Ensure the team's effectiveness in performing day-to-day financial tasks.
  • Own the management and tracking process of strategic planning


  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting,
  • Finance, or a related Proven experience in financial management, accounting, and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Quickbooks.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Intimately know the numbers of the business and continually dive deep exploring ways to improve transparency and profitability for the owners, leaders, and team.
