Step into a high-impact contract role for an exciting Global 100 client where your SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll expertise will drive accurate, compliant payroll as part of a multi phase S/4 global modernization program.. You’ll join a remote consulting team delivering complex ECP solutions, working closely with HR and IT stakeholders to optimize payroll operations and ensure seamless integrations.

About the Role:

This role focuses on end-to-end implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll, with a strong emphasis on configuration, country-specific compliance, and integration. You will translate HR and payroll requirements into robust ECP solutions, oversee data migration and testing, and ensure smooth transition into production through documentation and knowledge transfer. Your work will directly improve payroll accuracy, compliance, and process efficiency for the clients' complex global organizational structure. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and extend SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP), including wage types, schemas, PCR's, and processing logic.
• Design and implement country-specific payroll solutions, ensuring alignment with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Plan and execute data migration activities, including payroll master data preparation, validation, and reconciliation.
• Develop and run test scenarios for payroll, manage defect triage and resolution, and oversee end-to-end quality assurance.
• Configure and optimize Payroll Control Center (PCC) and EC Data Replication Monitor (SLG1, SRTUTIL) to support proactive payroll monitoring and error handling.
• Collaborate with integration teams to design and support interfaces using SAP Integration Suite and related tools to various 3rd party systems.
• Produce clear documentation, deliver user training, and conduct knowledge transfer sessions to client teams for ongoing payroll operations.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as an SAP SuccessFactors ECP Consultant with multiple full lifecycle implementations or major enhancements.  A minimum of 5+ years of SuccessFactors experience required.  
• Strong hands-on configuration skills in Employee Central Payroll, including payroll schemas, rules, and extensions.
• Demonstrated expertise in country-specific payroll and statutory compliance (e.g. tax, social security, reporting).
• Solid background in HR business process analysis and the ability to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Practical experience with payroll data migration, master data management, and data validation.
• Track record in planning and executing payroll testing, defect management, and quality assurance activities.
• Experience configuring and supporting Payroll Control Center (PCC) and EC Data Replication Monitor.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with remote, cross-functional teams in a client-facing environment.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with SAP Integration Suite for HR/payroll interfaces to third-party systems.
• Solid understanding of SAP's Clean Core Concepts. 
• Exposure to multi-country payroll environments and complex organizational structures.
• Familiarity with broader SAP SuccessFactors modules, particularly Employee Central.
• Prior consulting experience with large enterprise or global clients.
• Experience in change management, user adoption, and process optimization for HR and payroll functions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, HR, Business, or a related field.
• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll certification (or equivalent) preferred. (C_HRHPC)
• Additional SAP SuccessFactors or SAP HCM certifications advantageous.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development in payroll, HR technology, or SAP cloud solutions.
