Step into a high-impact SAP S/4HANA Greenfield program where you’ll own the Fixed Assets stream end-to-end, shaping the future-state design for a complex, multi-valuation environment. This is a hands-on contract role for a seasoned SAP S/4HANA Fixed Assets Lead who can translate business requirements into robust, scalable solutions and guide stakeholders through a major transformation.

About the Role:

As the SAP S/4HANA Fixed Assets Lead, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and delivering the Asset Accounting (FI-AA) solution within an S/4HANA landscape, including New Asset Accounting and parallel valuation. You will lead fit-gap analysis, solution design, and implementation activities across the full project lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration with GL, PS and CO. Your work will directly support accurate financial reporting, efficient period-end close, and strong governance over asset master data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end solution design and configuration for SAP S/4HANA Asset Accounting, including depreciation areas, depreciation keys, and New Asset Accounting.
• Conduct detailed fit-gap analysis workshops with business stakeholders to validate requirements and define to-be processes for fixed assets.
• Design and implement integration between Fixed Assets, General Ledger, and Controlling, ensuring consistent postings and reconciliation.
• Configure and optimize SAP Fiori apps for Asset Accounting to support user-friendly, role-based access and process execution.
• Drive the month-end and year-end closing processes for fixed assets, including testing, issue resolution, and process optimization.
• Own cutover planning and execution for fixed assets, including data migration, reconciliation, and transition to the new solution.
• Coordinate and execute testing activities (unit, integration, UAT) for the Fixed Assets stream, including test planning, scripts, and defect management.
• Develop and deliver user training, knowledge transfer, and documentation for fixed asset processes and tools.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as an SAP FI-AA or S/4HANA Asset Accounting Lead on full lifecycle implementations, including at least one S/4HANA project.
• Strong hands-on configuration expertise in SAP S/4HANA Asset Accounting, including depreciation areas, depreciation keys, and New Asset Accounting.
• Demonstrated experience with integration of Asset Accounting to General Ledger and Controlling in an S/4HANA environment.
• Solid background in designing and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes for fixed assets.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead workshops, challenge requirements, and gain consensus on solution design.
• Experience in business process consulting for fixed assets, including process mapping, optimization, and control design.
• Proven ability to manage cutover activities, including data migration, reconciliation, and go-live support for fixed assets.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex SAP concepts to finance and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with parallel valuation and multiple depreciation areas in complex, multi-GAAP environments.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori apps specific to Asset Accounting, including configuration and user enablement.
• Exposure to Asset Master Data Governance frameworks and tools within SAP.
• Prior experience in large-scale transformation programs or global template rollouts.
• Specific current/prior experience working with SAP Public Sector implementations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CPA) preferred but not mandatory.
• SAP certification in Financial Accounting or S/4HANA Finance highly desirable.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development in SAP S/4HANA and Finance solutions.
