You’ll be the go-to specialist for end-to-end project system design and delivery, driving better visibility, control, and financial outcomes across large-scale initiatives.

About the Role:

This senior consulting role focuses on designing, configuring, and delivering SAP S/4HANA Project System and Project Costing solutions that integrate seamlessly with Finance, Controlling, and logistics modules. You will lead requirements gathering, solution design, and implementation activities, ensuring project costing, budgeting, WIP, and results analysis processes are robust, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.

• Lead workshops with business and IT stakeholders to capture detailed requirements for project costing, budgeting, and project execution processes.
• Design and configure SAP S/4HANA PS components, including WBS elements, networks, and orders, to support complex project structures and cost flows.
• Configure and optimize project costing, budgeting, results analysis, and WIP processes, ensuring accurate integration with FI/CO and Controlling.
• Design and implement integration scenarios between PS and SD, MM, and PP for project-related sales, procurement, and production activities.
• Define and configure SAP Fiori apps and user experience for project costing and related PS processes, ensuring usability and adoption.
• Develop functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams for enhancements, interfaces, and custom reports related to PS and project costing.
• Plan and execute testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT) for PS solutions, including defect management and resolution.
• Lead cutover planning and data migration activities for PS projects, including mapping, cleansing, and validation of project master and transactional data.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Project System (PS) configuration, including WBS, networks, and orders.
• Strong expertise in project costing and budgeting in S/4HANA, including cost planning, allocations, and settlements.
• Proven experience with integration of PS with FI/CO and Controlling, including results analysis and WIP management.
• Demonstrated ability to design and support integration between PS and SD, MM, and PP for project-related processes.
• Practical experience working with SAP Fiori apps and UX for project costing and PS-related functions.
• Track record in leading requirements gathering and solution design sessions with business stakeholders in a client-facing consulting environment.
• Solid experience in testing, cutover planning, and data migration for SAP PS implementations or migrations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex PS and costing concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with S/4HANA Greenfield projects involving conversion from non SAP to S/4HANA PS and project costing.
• Familiarity with advanced analytics or reporting tools for project cost and performance monitoring.
• Exposure to industry-specific project scenarios (e.g., engineering, construction, professional services).
• Experience working in multi-vendor or large program environments with complex governance structures.
• Proven implementation experience in the Public Sector and related Government Accounting requirements
• Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager or similar tools for documentation, testing, and change management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• SAP certification in S/4HANA or SAP Project System (PS) preferred.
• Additional certifications in SAP FI/CO or related modules considered an advantage.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development in SAP S/4HANA and project costing solutions.
