Job Title: Lead Mammography Tech

Location: Texas

Job Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the mammography department, ensuring high-quality imaging services in compliance with Texas Medical Board standards.
- Perform mammography imaging on patients of all ages and conditions, demonstrating excellent technical skills.
- Exhibit strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills, coaching and mentoring staff both clinically and professionally.
- Provide shift direction during process changes, ensuring smooth departmental operations.
- Interact effectively with internal and external customers, promoting exemplary customer satisfaction.
- Represent departmental leadership positively, offering guidance and support to staff and role-modeling teamwork.
- Provide input on staff performance and educational needs to the Manager/Director.
- Participate in and facilitate quality and performance improvement initiatives and staff meetings.

Qualifications:
- MRT certification as per Texas Medical Board requirements.
- At least five (5) years of experience as a Mammography Technologist in an acute hospital setting.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in departmental operations.
- Ability to lift and maneuver patients with assistance as needed.
