Position Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment. The role requires someone who is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on machinery, mechanical systems, conveyors, and motors.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and recommend solutions.

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manuals.

• Perform equipment installations and modifications as needed.

• Ensure all maintenance work follows health and safety standards.

• Collaborate with production teams to reduce downtime and optimize equipment performance.

Qualifications:

• Certified Millwright (Industrial Mechanic) – Red Seal preferred.

• 3+ years of experience in maintenance or repair within a manufacturing or production setting.

• Strong mechanical knowledge, including hydraulics and pneumatics.

• Ability to work flexible shifts if required (day/afternoon/evening).

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Assets:

• Welding and fabrication experience.

• Basic knowledge of PLC systems.

• Experience in food, packaging, or light manufacturing environments.
