Job Title: EHS Specialist

Our client in the manufacturing sector is seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to lead safety and environmental initiatives, ensuring compliance and promoting a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain EHS policies, programs, and procedures.

• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.

• Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and industry regulations.

• Lead EHS training and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, OHS, Engineering, or related field.

• 1–4 years of EHS experience in manufacturing.

• Strong knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001/OHSAS 18001 standards.

• CSP, CIH, or CEP certification is an asset.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Canadian OHS and environmental regulations.

• Proficient in risk analysis, reporting, and data interpretation.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Familiarity with manufacturing EHS risks and best practices.
