Job Description

• Completion of a Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a manufacturing Quality environment within the automotive industry.
• Solid understanding of Welding and Stamping/ Metal fabrication processes would be an asset .
• Experience launching new programs for large OEM’s (GM launch experience preferable).
• Good understanding of the principles and concepts of Statistical Process Control. Working knowledge of Minitab an asset.
• Excellent problem solving techniques.
• Working knowledge of IATF 16949:2016. Internal auditor certificate would be an asset.
• Excellent knowledge of Assembly department equipment.
• Ability to interact with all levels of employees in the organization, customers, suppliers, sub-contractors, engineers.
• Aluminum experience would be an asset.
• Computer skills in the area of MS Word/ Excel/ Power Point and other databases.
