Job Description

MetaTech Consulting, Inc (MTC) is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure Optimization (TS/SCI & FSP) for onsite full-time jobs in Annapolis Junction, Maryland with a salary up to $235,500.00.

This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location.

Responsibilities: 

• Work within a government and contractor team to integrate enhanced client requirements and maintain a specific working application/tool.
• Full-stack software development creating a business planning and tracking application with knowledge of corporate authentication services and security requirements.
• Design and verify prototype solutions against validated requirements.
• Work independently without significant direction and daily tasking.

Experience Required:

• Fourteen (14) years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• • Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Experience in Full Stack development efforts.
• Experience with MEVN (MONGO, EXPRESS, VUE, NODE) and DOCKER.
• Experience with corporate authentication services and dealing with security requirements.
• Experience in DevOps for designing and proofing prototypes.
• Experience with Linux operating systems.
• Experience migrating data between environments on one or more platforms is desirable.
• Must be compliant with DoD 8570 IAD Level 1, at a minimum.
• Position requires TS/SCI clearance with full scope polygraph.

Experience Desired:

• Experience in defining an effort from mission outcomes/objectives to key tasks, collaborating with others monitoring and preparing out-reports, with the ability to embrace cross-directorate collaboration, and work with/advise others with little or no Systems Engineering experience.
