Project to Senior Project Hydrogeologist

Our client is seeking skilled Hydrogeologists to join their multidisciplinary team and contribute to solving complex environmental and mining challenges. This role provides the opportunity to work on technically challenging, collaborative, and globally impactful projects in hydrology and groundwater modeling.

What You'll Work On:

• Conduct field investigations and hydrologic testing.
• Analyze meteorologic, hydrologic, and geologic data for model development.
• Develop conceptual and numerical models for groundwater flow, water quality, and contaminant transport.
• Implement and manage complex datasets using pre/post-processing scripts and databases.
• Support software development and contribute to technical innovation
• Engage in client and regulator interactions to support project goals.
• Contribute to technical reports, presentations, and project planning.

What You Bring:

• Expertise in hydrogeology, groundwater modeling, or related fields.
• Master’s degree or higher in hydrogeology, water resources, geology, or a similar discipline.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with numerical modeling software such as MODFLOW, FEFLOW, and PEST.
• Skills in analyzing spatial and time-series datasets and using tools like ArcGIS.
• Positive attitude, willingness to mentor and collaborate, and strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional registration (P.G., P.E.) or the ability to obtain it.
• Experience with water-balance software (e.g., GoldSim), unsaturated-zone modeling (e.g., Hydrus), and geologic modeling tools (e.g., Leapfrog).
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages like Python, SQL, or C++.
