Project to Senior Project Geochemist

Our client is seeking experienced Geochemists to join their multidisciplinary team and tackle complex challenges in mining and environmental geochemistry. This role offers the opportunity to work on technically demanding, collaborative, and globally impactful projects.

What You'll Work On:

• Conduct geochemical field investigations and testing.
• Analyze and interpret geologic and geochemical data for model development.
• Develop conceptual and numerical models for water quality and contaminant transport.
• Implement advanced machine learning and statistical techniques for analyzing datasets.
• Support software development and contribute to technical innovation.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and project deliverables.

What You Bring:

• Expertise in geochemistry, hydrology, or water quality modeling.
• Master’s degree or higher in geochemistry, water resources, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in geochemical modeling tools such as PHREEQ-C and Geochemist’s Workbench.
• Skills in database management, scripting, and programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL).
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and ability to collaborate effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional registration (P.G., P.E.) or ability to achieve it.
• Experience with software such as GoldSim, Hydrus, and geologic modeling tools (e.g., Leapfrog).
• Knowledge of CAD/GIS tools like AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS.
