Our client, a well-funded and rapidly growing mining company, seeks an accomplished and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive team. The company is focused on developing a world-class gold mine with a significant resource and has obtained key government approvals and licenses, positioning them for substantial growth in the coming years.

As CFO, you will drive the company's financial strategy, oversee financial operations, and ensure long-term financial success. You will manage a robust financial plan, optimize financial performance, and ensure financial stability as the company pursues aggressive growth and a public listing within the next 18 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic financial leadership and be a key contributor to the company's growth
• Manage financial requirements of a publicly traded company, ensuring compliance and accurate reporting
• Engage with investors, bankers, and the investment community to support the company's growth
• Negotiate material agreements, joint ventures, and corporate development opportunities
• Oversee finance, accounting, and auditing procedures and establish internal controls
• Develop strong partnerships with the CEO, Board, and executive team to achieve financial objectives

The ideal candidate is a seasoned finance executive with a proven track record in the mining industry and extensive experience in financial planning, analysis, capital raising, M&A, and public company requirements. A strong understanding of the mining industry's financial landscape and the ability to navigate complex challenges are essential. Fluency in Spanish and the flexibility to travel up to 50% of the time is required.
