Diesel Technician
Location: South Florida Preferred (Fort Lauderdale or West Coast Florida considered — Naples, Fort Myers, Sarasota)

Position Overview
M Force Partners is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to support commercial and industrial equipment operations throughout South Florida. This role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing diesel-powered equipment while ensuring reliability, safety, and operational performance for commercial and industrial clients.
The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, experience working independently in the field, and the ability to support critical customer operations in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, maintain, repair, and install commercial and industrial diesel-powered equipment
- Perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems
- Conduct load banking and automatic transfer switch (ATS) testing
- Inspect equipment to identify operational issues and recommend corrective actions
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation
- Perform testing and operational checks to ensure equipment reliability and performance
- Support commercial and industrial clients
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Respond to emergency service needs and support storm-related recovery efforts when required
- Work collaboratively with operations and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Travel occasionally to support customer and operational needs
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience maintaining and repairing diesel-powered commercial or industrial equipment
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience performing ATS testing and load banking
- Familiarity with major equipment brands such as:
- Cummins
- CAT
- Isuzu
- Kohler
- Generac
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background and drug screening
- Ability to work independently in field-based environments
Preferred Qualifications
- OEM certifications
- Military or government mechanical experience
- CDL license
- Experience supporting emergency response or storm recovery operations
