CNC Machinist
Location: Rogersville, TN
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: Swing Shift
Pay: $22 – $28 per hour

Position Overview

M Force Partners is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to support machining operations by setting up and operating lathe equipment to produce precision components. This CNC Machinist role will focus on machine setup, tool adjustments, CAD/CAM data transfers, and ensuring accurate production processes while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The ideal CNC Machinist will have experience setting up machinery, working with CAD/CAM data, and operating equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, load, and operate lathe machines to perform turning, threading, and boring operations
• Perform machine setup and manual tool changes as required
• Transfer CAD and CAM data from central systems to machine control (DNC)
• Generate CAM data and cutter location files to support machining operations
• Start and monitor machine processes to ensure quality production
• Grind and shape cutting tools using a tool grinder when necessary
• Transport materials and load/unload parts using manual handling, overhead cranes, or forklifts
• Complete job tracking documentation and maintain program files
• Follow all plant safety and environmental policies and procedures
• Support additional manufacturing duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Experience setting up and operating machining equipment
• Ability to use standard hand tools and machining equipment
• Ability to transfer and manage CAD/CAM data for machine operation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow production processes

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Machinist or vocational certification preferred
• Prior experience in machining or manufacturing environments preferred
