M Force Partners is seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer – Robotics Systems to lead the design and development of complex robotic and electromechanical systems. This Senior Mechanical Engineer – Robotics Systems role focuses on full-system ownership, from concept through prototyping, validation, and production readiness.
The ideal Senior Mechanical Engineer – Robotics Systems will have hands-on experience designing complete robotic systems — not just components — and will bring a strong foundation in structural design, system integration, and real-world product deployment. This role is suited for engineers who have operated in R&D environments and have delivered hardware into production.
Lead end-to-end mechanical design for complex robotic and electromechanical systems
Own structural design of large assemblies and integrated mechanical platforms
Develop and validate mechanical designs through simulation, prototyping, and testing
Perform engineering analysis including FEA, vibration, and thermal evaluation to ensure system reliability
Collaborate closely with electrical, controls, and software teams to support full system integration
Support prototype builds, testing, and iteration cycles in a hands-on development environment
Drive design for manufacturability and ensure readiness for real-world deployment
Identify technical risks early and contribute to system-level design decisions
Participate in engineering design reviews and provide technical leadership across projects
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
8–15 years of mechanical design experience in product development or R&D environments
Experience designing and owning full robotic systems or mechanically complex platforms
Strong background in structural mechanics and large-scale assemblies
Hands-on prototyping and product development experience
Proficiency with SolidWorks and simulation tools such as ANSYS
Experience taking products from concept through production or deployment
Strong collaboration skills across multidisciplinary engineering teams
Experience working on full robotic platforms, not just subsystems or components
Background in surgical robotics, advanced robotics, or complex mechanical systems
Experience in industries such as robotics, aerospace, heavy machinery, or similar environments
Exposure to high-performance or mission-critical system design
Engineers who have owned full systems, not just tools, instruments, or accessories
Candidates with strong hands-on experience, not purely academic or analysis-only backgrounds
Individuals who can operate in fast-paced, build-test-iterate environments
Strong problem-solvers who can take ownership from concept through execution
Fully onsite role (no remote or hybrid options)
Relocation assistance available
Portfolio of relevant work is strongly preferred
