Mechatronics Engineer

Pay: $75k-$110k
Location: Torrington, CT

Position Overview

M Force Partners is seeking an innovative and hands-on Mechatronics Engineer to lead the design and development of powered systems from concept through production. This Mechatronics Engineer role focuses on developing mechanical and electromechanical assemblies that perform reliably in outdoor environments.

The ideal Mechatronics Engineer will combine strong mechanical design expertise, electromechanical system knowledge, and hands-on prototyping experience to support next-generation product development in a fast-paced, engineering-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of powered systems from concept to production
• Create and refine mechanical and electromechanical assemblies for outdoor use
• Prototype, test, validate, and improve overall system performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including fabrication, electronics, and integration
• Troubleshoot field issues and implement continuous improvements
• Support development of new features, product enhancements, and next-generation concepts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field
• Strong 3D CAD skills and mechanical design experience
• Hands-on aptitude for prototyping and product testing
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with actuation systems, motion systems, or electromechanical components
• Experience integrating mechanical and electrical assemblies
• Passion for innovative product development
