Electronic Soldering Technician
Location: Monroe, NC
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $28 per hour


Position Overview

M Force Partners is seeking a skilled Electronic Soldering Technician to support the configuration, maintenance, and repair of automated entry solutions within controlled environments. This Electronic Soldering Technician role focuses on troubleshooting electronic systems, interpreting schematics, and ensuring reliable system performance while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The ideal Electronic Soldering Technician will bring strong hands-on experience with electronic components, diagnostic tools, and circuit board repair while thriving in a fast-paced technical environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic control systems down to the component level
  • Perform circuit board repair, rework, and diagnostics on electronic components
  • Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and work instructions
  • Utilize diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other testing equipment
  • Perform adjustments and calibration of test and measurement equipment
  • Maintain safe work practices and support safety initiatives aligned with 5S standards
  • Support production operations by adhering to established processes and procedures
  • Contribute to team goals and service center delivery targets
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers to support technical solutions
  • Maintain an organized and efficient work environment

Required Skills

  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing circuit boards and electronic components
  • Soldering skills at the component level (through-hole and surface mount devices)
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools to identify faults and implement solutions
  • Ability to interpret schematics, technical manuals, and technical drawings
  • Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education & Experience

  • Associate degree in Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, or related field preferred
  • Ability to build and repair electronic circuits
  • 1–2 years of experience in electronic technology preferred (but not required)
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude
  • Reliable, disciplined, and able to work effectively within a team environment
