Signage & Wayfinding Specialist
Location: Remote 15% Travel
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: $50k-$90k

Position Overview

M Force Partners is seeking a Signage & Wayfinding Specialist to support the planning, documentation, and execution of signage and wayfinding systems for complex, multi-site environments. This role focuses on developing wayfinding plans, fire evacuation maps, and location schedules while coordinating closely with sales, design, project management, estimating, and installation teams.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple projects, and skilled at translating architectural drawings and regulatory requirements into clear, compliant wayfinding solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain wayfinding systems, including message schedules, location plans, and fire evacuation maps

• Ensure all wayfinding documentation meets ADA, life-safety, and local jurisdictional code requirements

• Review and interpret architectural floor plans and construction documents

• Coordinate project requirements across internal teams and client stakeholders

• Manage wayfinding projects through revisions, approvals, purchase orders, and transition to production

• Prepare and manage sign schedules, quotations, and documentation, aligning with timelines, lead times, logistics, and installation considerations

• Collaborate with project management and installation teams to confirm accurate sign placement

• Maintain standard templates, code references, and project-specific documentation

• Conduct or support on-site surveys to verify design accuracy and code compliance when required

• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Maintain confidentiality of all company and client information

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of related professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Ability to accurately interpret architectural drawings and floor plans

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Sign Agent, FileMaker Pro, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop

• Background in signage, wayfinding, construction, or design coordination

• Customer-facing experience in a project-based environment

• Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain a passport
