Shipping Associate


Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Associate to join our Logistics team. In this role, you will assist with the preparation, processing, and shipment of products, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. The ideal candidate is organized, able to multi-task, and communicates effectively with team members to support smooth operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, package, and process domestic and international shipments to meet delivery deadlines.

  • Ensure proper packaging and handling to maintain product quality during transit.

  • Enter shipment and inventory data accurately into ERP systems.

  • Process shipments through carriers such as FedEx and UPS.

  • Audit picked products for accuracy and conduct secondary verification.

  • Relabel and repackage returned items as needed.

  • Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control.

  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation and storage areas in accordance with company housekeeping standards.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support Logistics operations.

  • Shift: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM EST.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.

  • Familiarity with shipping via FedEx and UPS.


Physical Requirements

  • Frequently required to sit, talk, and hear.

  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach, handle objects, and lift/move up to 50 lbs (with assistance if needed).

  • Must be able to visually inspect small parts and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.


Work Environment

  • Typical office, manufacturing, or laboratory environment.

  • May require the use of safety equipment, including eye protection, hearing protection, and gloves.

  • Exposure to standard workplace conditions, with occasional physical activity and handling of products.
