Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team on a contract basis in Knoxville, TN. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in rooming patients, taking comprehensive patient histories, and will have experience or interest in Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and casting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Room patients efficiently and ensure a smooth flow of appointments.- Collect and record detailed patient histories and vital signs.- Assist healthcare providers with examinations and procedures.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.- Support inventory management and preparation of DME.- Assist with casting and splinting as needed.- Provide exceptional patient care and support.

Qualifications:

- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) required.- Previous experience in a medical practice.- Familiarity with DME and casting is a plus.- Strong organizational and communication skills.- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
