Job Description

Project Manager 

We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee field operations and project support staff on a variety of outside construction projects. This role plays a key part in managing projects from concept through closeout, with responsibilities ranging from estimating and procurement to scheduling, safety, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and coordinate construction activities to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and aligned with project specifications.

  • Act as the main point of contact with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams.

  • Build strong relationships with craft labor, field supervisors, and stakeholders to promote collaboration.

  • Plan and manage personnel assignments across all phases of the project.

  • Ensure accurate and timely project documentation, reports, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Enforce safety standards and practices, maintaining compliance with OSHA and company policies.

  • Support estimating efforts, including take-offs, bids, and specialized project scopes.

  • Monitor budgets, schedules, and invoicing to maintain financial performance and risk control.

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to staff, encouraging growth and accountability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline preferred (experience may substitute).

  • At least 5 years of project management experience in electrical, civil, or infrastructure construction.

  • Strong background in contracts, project scheduling, and safety programs.

  • Skilled in project management tools (such as HeavyBid, HeavyJob, and MS Office).

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience coordinating with union labor and subcontractors is a plus.

Work Environment & Travel:

  • Office and field-based responsibilities with regular site visits required.

  • Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
