Job Description

The Lincoln Group has partnered with a local school, in search of a School Nurse to join their team in the Metro Atlanta Area!  We are currently seeking an experienced nurse responsible for the care of the students on site.  

Type of Hire: Full Time

Title: Registered Nurse or Licensed Professional Nurse – School Based
Location: Atlanta, GA

Work Schedule:

Monday – Thursday: 8 am-3:30 pm

Friday: 8 am - 1 pm

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

• Evaluate and address health concerns and injuries for students and staff.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
  Keep detailed and current medical records.
• Work with teachers, parents, and healthcare professionals to create and carry out health plans for students with chronic conditions.
• Offer health education and encourage wellness for students and staff.
• Handle medical emergencies and coordinate with emergency services as needed.
• Perform health screenings and evaluations.
• Oversee compliance with school immunization and medication administration policies.
• Act as a health resource for students, parents, and staff.
• Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and best practices for school health services.
• Ensure confidentiality of medical information.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Colorado or Multi-State Compact RN License or LPN license is required.
• CPR-BLS, having PALS is a bonus.
