The Lincoln Group has partnered with a client in search of an experienced E-Billing Specialist to join their team! We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented professional to handle full-cycle billing functions, including advanced legal e-billing processes, for a dynamic team.

Type of Hire: Full-Time
Title: E-Billing Specialist
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Work Schedule: Hybrid (4 days in the office, 1 day remote per week)
Compensation: $80,000 - $85,000

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

• Perform full-cycle billing, including pre-bill edits, invoice preparation, and finalization.
• Administer monthly billings and respond to ad hoc requests from attorneys.
• Collaborate with attorneys and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely billing.
• Process e-billing through multiple platforms, adhering to LEDES format standards and UTBMS coding.
• Manage billing for insurance defense matters, including split billing arrangements.
• Track and manage insurance Self-Insured Retention (SIR) and other billing guidelines.
• Submit appeals and adjustments for short-paid invoices through e-billing portals.

REQUIREMENTS

• Advanced experience in legal e-billing platforms and systems.
• Knowledge of LEDES format standards and UTBMS coding.
• Expertise in billing for insurance defense matters and complex arrangements.
• Strong familiarity with billing setups and guidelines.
• Preferred: Experience with Intellectual Property (IP) billing.
