Job Description

The Lincoln Group has partnered with a local client in search of a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor to join their team. 

Type of Hire: Contract to Hire

Title: Shipping and Receiving Supervisor

Work Schedule: Monday -Friday, Rotate Saturday's

Compensation: $24-$28.00

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Shipping and Receiving Supervisor. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of the shipping and receiving operations, ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of goods.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the shipping and receiving team
- Ensure timely and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of goods
- Maintain inventory accuracy and manage discrepancies
- Implement and enforce safety and operational policies
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and resolve issues
- Train and evaluate staff performance
- Maintain records and prepare reports related to shipping and receiving activities
- Operate shipping and receiving equipment as needed

Required Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and software
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures and regulations
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to lift and move heavy packages and operate warehouse equipment

Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory experience is highly desirable
- Certification in forklift operation or other relevant equipment is a plus
