As the Assistant Vice President of Corporate Casualty Risk, you will serve as the primary architect for the strategy, profitability, and market reputation of a high-profile casualty portfolio. This is a high-impact leadership mandate where you will drive disciplined expansion, cultivate elite broker partnerships, and mentor a premier team of underwriting specialists.
Operating at the intersection of enterprise strategy and market execution, you will engage with senior executives and leverage a global network to solidify the firm’s position as a preferred partner for complex corporate risks.
Strategic Portfolio Leadership
P&L Ownership: Drive the financial performance of the Corporate Casualty segment, ensuring the execution of long-term growth and profitability objectives.
Market Strategy: Develop and implement sophisticated underwriting frameworks that harmonize market opportunities with capital efficiency and risk tolerance.
Business Development: Lead the creation of high-stakes business proposals and presentations for prospective global clients and major brokerage houses.
Portfolio Analysis: Vigilantly monitor performance metrics and market trends to initiate proactive underwriting adjustments and portfolio optimization.
Market & Relationship Management
Brand Ambassadorship: Act as the face of the Casualty business, strengthening ties with key industry stakeholders, clients, and distribution partners.
Internal Collaboration: Provide expert guidance and strategic partnership to internal functions, including Claims, Finance, Legal, and Risk.
Multinational Growth: Utilize the organization’s international infrastructure to enhance and scale the multinational casualty value proposition.
Risk, Governance & Culture
Risk Stewardship: Embed a rigorous risk management culture that aligns with global standards and regulatory expectations.
Client-Centricity: Define and model a culture of fairness and excellence in service, ensuring customer needs are at the heart of underwriting decisions.
Operational Integrity: Oversee internal control systems and governance processes to ensure sustainable resilience and timely remediation of any gaps.

Educational Foundation: University degree or equivalent; a CIP designation or a related professional insurance qualification is required.
