This role is specifically designed for a commercially minded legal professional who is:
Experienced: Generally between 3 to 7 years of call, though we remain flexible for candidates with a proven track record of independence.
Entrepreneurial: You possess the "hunter" mindset required to build a practice and the "builder" mindset required to establish an office.
Technically Proficient: Highly comfortable managing files autonomously with minimal oversight.
Growth-Oriented: You are looking for more than just a salary; you want a stake in what you build and a clear path to partnership.
Base Salary: $140,000 - $160,000, adjusted based on the depth of your experience.
Incentive Structure: A highly lucrative percentage of billings, with enhanced bonuses for self-generated files.
Partnership Track: Eligibility for equity partnership is typically considered once self-generated revenue accounts for approximately 50–60% of your practice.
Environment: Initial operations will be based in a modern shared workspace in Calgary, with plans for a dedicated firm office as the local team grows.
