We are looking for a confident, high-energy leader to take the helm of a critical operational hub. As the Manager of the Commercial Lines Support Unit, you will be the driving force behind operational efficiency, ensuring that policy documentation, renewals, and client certificates are handled with precision. Your primary mission is to foster a culture of mentorship, guiding a dedicated team to hit service benchmarks while maintaining a sophisticated level of client care.
Team Leadership & Mentorship: Inspire and manage a high-functioning support team, providing the coaching and professional development necessary to help individuals reach their full potential.
Operational Excellence: Supervise the end-to-end lifecycle of commercial documentation, including renewals, liability slips, endorsements, and certificates of insurance.
Performance Management: Establish and monitor service standards, conducting regular performance evaluations and creating actionable growth plans for team members.
Escalation & Problem Solving: Serve as the primary point of contact for complex files, resolving high-level issues with a solution-oriented mindset.
Process Innovation: Continuously evaluate internal workflows to identify bottlenecks and implement streamlined procedures that enhance overall productivity.
Collaborative Support: Maintain strong relationships with internal brokers and external partners; step in to assist with high-volume processing or invoicing during peak business cycles.
Licensing: Must hold an active RIBO license in good standing.
Experience: Demonstrated success in a leadership or management role within a commercial insurance environment.
Expertise: Deep functional knowledge of commercial insurance workflows, policy structures, and industry best practices.
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver engaging training sessions and presentations.
Technical Savvy: High proficiency in modern insurance brokerage software and the ability to adapt quickly to new digital tools.
Attention to Detail: A meticulous eye for accuracy and the ability to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Our client believes in rewarding talent with a competitive and transparent total rewards package:
Salary Range: $80,000 to $120,000 annually (commensurate with experience and internal equity).
Additional Pay: Eligibility for variable commissions and performance-based bonuses.
