Leap Recruitment Partners is proud to represent a top-tier Canadian insurance brokerage and program management firm in their search for a strategic and high-performing Program Account Executive.
Our client is a leader in designing niche insurance solutions for professional associations and groups. We are looking for a sophisticated insurance professional who thrives at the intersection of technical risk management and high-level relationship building. In this role, you will act as a key advisor to professional organizations, navigating complex coverages like Cyber, E&O, and D&O.
If you are a licensed professional who enjoys the spotlight of a board presentation as much as the intricacies of a complex policy, this is your next leap.
Strategic Client Advisory
Act as the lead consultant for a dedicated book of business, delivering bespoke risk management advice and exceptional service.
Conduct personalized consultations to assess risks and implement coverage strategies that protect client assets and reputations.
Travel to engage with clients directly, fostering deep-rooted partnerships through in-person meetings and attendance at national industry events.
Technical Subject Matter Expertise
Leverage deep industry knowledge to interpret and manage specialized lines, including Errors & Omissions, Cyber Liability, and Directors & Officers insurance.
Maintain a pulse on the shifting regulatory landscape and emerging threats to ensure clients remain ahead of market trends.
Growth & Industry Presence
Cultivate new opportunities by leveraging professional networks and industry influence.
Champion the firm’s value proposition by speaking on panels, hosting educational webinars, and representing the brand at major conferences.
Craft and deliver persuasive pitches to prospective group partners and stakeholders.
Communication & Reporting
Design and deliver high-impact presentations and comprehensive reports for boards of directors and executive committees.
Utilize digital platforms to host training sessions and webinars, simplifying complex insurance concepts for diverse audiences.
Operational Excellence
Orchestrate multiple workflows, ensuring renewals and project deliverables are executed with precision and punctuality.
Work cross-functionally with internal teams to provide seamless account administration and accuracy.
Experience: At least 5 years of dedicated experience in Commercial Lines insurance, with a documented history of managing specialized professional liability products.
Licensing: A valid RIBO license in good standing is mandatory.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written command of English. You must be able to translate technical jargon into clear, actionable advice.
Presentation Prowess: You are comfortable and confident commanding a room, whether it’s a virtual webinar or a boardroom of executives.
Technical Depth: Advanced understanding of policy architecture, underwriting logic, and the nuances of the specialized insurance market.
Mobility: Flexibility to travel as required to meet with clients and participate in industry-wide gatherings.
Organization: A disciplined approach to project management with the ability to navigate competing deadlines without compromising quality.
Language: Professional proficiency in both French and English is highly preferred and considered a significant asset.
