The Role
In this position, you will serve as the engine of the sales department, focusing on in-house and outbound prospecting to build a robust pipeline of potential clients. You will be responsible for initiating contact and generating interest, though no insurance license is required to excel in this role. We are seeking individuals ranging from entry-level applicants to seasoned sales pros who are eager to hit measurable targets and eventually transition into leadership and team support roles.
Key Responsibilities
● Proactive Outreach: Execute outbound sales strategies using a combination of telephone, email, and LinkedIn networking. ● Pipeline Management: Rigorously track and manage all sales activities, including call volume, digital outreach, and meeting conversion rates against established KPIs. ● Lead Qualification: Evaluate prospective clients' needs and schedule discovery meetings for the firm's licensed advisors. ● Data Integrity: Maintain precise and organized records of all outreach efforts and pipeline progress within the internal system. ● Process Improvement: Adhere to a proven sales framework while offering feedback to help optimize and refine internal processes. ● Future Mentorship: Assist with the integration and training of new team members as the organization continues its growth trajectory.
Licensing & Compliance
● This position is focused on business development; therefore, an insurance license is not a prerequisite. ● If you currently hold a license, you are welcome to apply; however, this role strictly excludes providing insurance advice or discussing policy pricing and coverage. ● All professional conduct must align with ICBC and relevant regulatory standards, and comprehensive training will be provided to ensure full compliance. Qualifications
● A genuine passion for sales, business development, and outbound prospecting. ● Confidence in initiating conversations with new prospects and building immediate rapport. ● A data-driven mindset with a comfort level for performance metrics and personal accountability. ● Exceptional communication skills, both in written correspondence and verbal dialogue. ● A long-term career focus with an interest in moving into management or leadership. ● Note: Prior experience in financial services or insurance is helpful but not mandatory.
