What You’ll Be Doing
Your mission is to drive growth and maintain technical integrity across the customer lifecycle:
- Business Development: Proactively prospect, qualify, and convert leads into a growing personal portfolio of commercial and personal lines clients.
- Risk Analysis & Tailored Solutions: Assess complex client risk profiles to recommend and implement appropriate, customized insurance solutions.
- Portfolio Management: Develop and maintain long-term client relationships, focusing on high retention rates and proactive renewal management.
- Strategic Growth: Actively cross-sell and up-sell additional lines of business based on evolving client needs and market conditions.
- Market Liaison: Act as the primary liaison between clients and underwriters to ensure all quotes and coverages are perfectly aligned with client requirements.
- Digital Excellence: Maintain precise records and manage data within EPIC and other digital platforms to ensure seamless operational flow.
What You Bring
- Licensing: A General Insurance License Level 2 (or higher) in British Columbia is required.
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of insurance experience with a strong technical grasp of both personal and commercial lines.
- Mindset: A true "hunter" mindset—self-motivated, target-driven, and proactive in generating new business.
- Sales Acumen: Strong interpersonal and consultative sales skills with the ability to build deep-rooted professional relationships.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in EPIC and various insurer portals is considered a strong asset.
