Our client is a leading provider of Independent Medical Examination (IME) and assessment services, supporting insurers, legal firms, and employers across Ontario. A.R.S. is known for its strong clinical network, service quality, and long-standing relationships within the insurance and medico-legal community.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Business Development Specialist to expand its presence in the Greater Toronto Area.
This role is responsible for developing, managing, and growing relationships with insurers, TPAs, law firms, and other referral sources that utilize IME and assessment services. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a relationship-driven environment and understands how IME services support claims and litigation processes.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone already connected in the Ontario insurance or IME market who enjoys autonomy and long-term relationship building.
Develop and execute business development strategies to grow IME referrals in the GTA
Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, adjusters, case managers, and legal professionals
Conduct in-person and virtual meetings with referral partners
Represent them at industry events, conferences, and networking functions
Collaborate with internal scheduling and clinical teams to ensure service excellence
Maintain accurate CRM records and report on business development activity
Stay current on industry trends, competitors, and client needs within the IME space
3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management
Experience within IME services, insurance, claims, rehabilitation, medico-legal, or assessment environments strongly preferred
Existing relationships within the Ontario insurance or legal market considered a strong asset
Proven ability to build trust-based, long-term client relationships
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally within the GTA
