Job Description

Our client, a recognized leader in Insurance Brokerage is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Personal Lines Customer Service Representative with a RIBO license to join their team.

Job Summary:

As a Personal Lines Customer Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to clients. Your primary responsibilities will include providing prompt and knowledgeable assistance to clients, handling policy changes, building and maintaining relationships with insurers and underwriters, supporting producers when needed, reporting claims on behalf of clients, and reviewing and remarketing policies during renewals.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide outstanding day-to-day customer service by promptly responding to client inquiries, offering advice, and addressing concerns.
  2. Process policy changes accurately and efficiently.
  3. Foster and maintain professional relationships with insurers and underwriters.
  4. Assist and support producers as required to ensure smooth operations.
  5. Handle claims reporting on behalf of clients to facilitate timely resolutions.
  6. Conduct renewal reviews and participate in remarketing policies as necessary.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  1. RIBO license with a minimum of 3 years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
  2. Strong working knowledge of personal lines insurance policies and coverages.
  3. Proficiency in using computers and applications, including a working knowledge of CQ, Power Broker, and insurance company portals.
  4. A team player with a strong work ethic, capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues.
  5. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
  6. Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and written and oral communication skills.
