Bilingual Quality Assurance Specialist/Medical Proofreader

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Bilingual Quality Assurance Specialist/Medical Proofreader to ensure the accuracy and highest quality of medical-legal reports before they are delivered to clients. This role demands a keen eye for detail, strong fact-checking and research abilities, and exceptional customer service skills.

In this role, you will carefully review medical-legal reports and accompanying medical documentation submitted by medical professionals. Your responsibilities will include identifying omissions, errors, and inconsistencies, as well as flagging any comments that fall outside the professional scope of the report. You will provide constructive feedback and suggest necessary corrections to the medical professionals.

Experience and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a post-secondary degree in health sciences (preferred but not mandatory) and have prior experience proofreading Independent Medical Reports.

You should also demonstrate the following skills and talents:

• Experience reviewing Independent Medical Evaluations and SABS documentation.
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills to manage specific file matters, ensuring reports are timely, comprehensive, and accurate.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with medical professionals, obtain or clarify information, and contribute to building strong professional relationships.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and deductive reasoning skills to interpret information and pinpoint areas requiring further investigation or action.
• Assertiveness and a proactive approach to coordinate activities with others and gain their cooperation and support.
• Proficient computer skills in MS Word and Excel.
• MUST be fluent in French
