Job Description
One of our clients, A well-established, community-focused and reputable insurance brokerage dedicated to providing personalized insurance solutions for over 70 years is looking for a Personal Lines Account Manager.
- Shift: Monday-Friday, 9AM – 4:30 PM (Tentatively)
- Location: Hybrid, Bowmanville/Oshawa, Ontario
- Role Type: Permanent
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound communication, including phone calls, emails, and faxes, to process client requests such as policy modifications, quotes, cancellations, reinstatements, rewrites, and new business.
- Assess coverage needs and recommend appropriate policy options for clients.
- Collaborate with sales professionals to ensure client concerns are resolved promptly.
- Follow up on non-renewal notices and updates to policy terms.
- Manage and submit endorsement requests to insurers.
- Take part in team-driven improvements, special projects, and local community engagement efforts.
- Support fellow team members by providing backup when necessary.

- Proven time management skills, efficiently handling renewals, policy changes, and client inquiries.
- Strong sales and advisory skills, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance client coverage.
- Collaborative and team-oriented, working closely with internal teams to deliver exceptional client service.
- Proactive in identifying potential coverage gaps, following up on renewals, and addressing client concerns.
- Committed to professionalism and integrity, maintaining high ethical standards in all client interactions.
- Skilled at managing difficult conversations, ensuring clients feel informed and supported during claims or policy changes.
- Active RIBO license in good standing (required).
- At least 2 years of experience in the insurance industry with a focus on client service and policy management.
