Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Program Director to lead a large-scale, cross-functional initiative. You will be responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of the program, working closely with executives, stakeholders, and a consulting firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Leadership:
- Develop and maintain the program's master plan.
- Act as the central point of contact for all program contributors.
- Provide leadership and influence to senior management and decision-making bodies.
- Represent the company and participate in stakeholder negotiations.
- Program Management:
- Develop the program plan, considering issues, complexity, and stakeholder relationships.
- Manage deliverables to meet business objectives, cost, and deadlines.
- Perform functional supervision and coordination of internal and external contributors.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to program governance and methodology.
- Manage large or multiple initiatives with project managers under supervision.
- Risk Management & Reporting:
- Develop risk analyses, impact assessments, and mitigation strategies.
- Provide regular program status reports to the sponsor, steering committee, and other decision-makers.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Maintain effective working relationships with executives, internal stakeholders, contributors and market experts.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 10+ years of project and program management experience (business-focused, not solely IT).
- Experience in the financial sector.
- Experience managing programs of strategic complexity.
- Strong skills in managing large-scale, cross-functional programs, including internal controls.
