Job Description

Overview:

Our client is seeking a Personal Insurance Account Manager who will report to the Team Lead of Personal Lines - Servicing. The ideal candidate will be tasked with driving business growth and retention within an existing portfolio.

Duties:

  • Provide prompt responses to telephone, email, and fax inquiries to maintain a high level of service
  • Conduct renewal reviews, make recommendations, provide comparison quotes, and re-market as necessary
  • Maintain total account sales awareness, with a focus on cross-selling and up-selling opportunities
  • Manage renewals, endorsements, and claims effectively
  • Process change requests on EPIC/company portals as required
  • Review and invoice endorsements and renewals when necessary
  • Issue in-house endorsements and new policies using company portals as needed
  • Ensure renewals are released after implementing appropriate changes
  • Attach and scan documents into EPIC
  • Generate quotes for cross-sells and up-sells rigorously
  • Issue required documentation, such as pink slips, and complete various other duties as assigned
  • Prepare new business documentation for signatures and other formalities
  • Order and report MVR, Autoplus, HITS
  • Provide support to other team members as necessary

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the VIP insurance sector
  • Proficiency with the EPIC brokerage system
  • R.I.B.O certification
  • Comprehensive knowledge of insurance carriers
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and effective problem-solving abilities
  • Self-motivated with strong capabilities in written and oral communication
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
