Job Description

Role Summary:

The Business Development Representative will focus on strengthening industry relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and expanding market outreach. This role will also contribute to enhancing brand presence through marketing efforts and industry engagement.

Reports To:

Vice President of Underwriting


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Industry Engagement & Relationship Building:

    • Develop and expand professional networks through participation in trade shows, industry events, and conferences.
    • Identify new business opportunities and support growth initiatives.
    • Provide insights and guidance on available tools and resources to industry partners.
    • Ensure high-quality engagement and communication within the industry.
  • Sales & Business Development:

    • Promote offerings and programs across key market segments.
    • Research and analyze market trends to support business strategy.
    • Contribute to the development, execution, and reporting of strategic business plans.
    • Support initiatives that drive business growth and industry recognition.
  • Marketing & Brand Awareness:

    • Develop and execute marketing initiatives to strengthen brand positioning.
    • Coordinate the creation of promotional materials and industry-related content.
    • Leverage multimedia strategies to enhance brand visibility.
    • Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and professional gatherings.
  • Market Research & Compliance:

    • Gather and analyze market intelligence to support strategic planning.
    • Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations.

Role Requirements:

  • Industry Experience:

    • Strong knowledge of the commercial insurance market and industry trends.
    • Previous experience in business development or a related field is preferred.
    • Understanding of market dynamics and business growth strategies.
