Electronic Technician (Bilingual – FR/ENG) – (Permanent Position)

Our client, one of the leaders in the Technology/Manufacturing sector is looking to grow their team and is hiring for a Electronic Technician to join our Engineering team in the Laval, Quebec office. As a member of the hardware team, you will assist hardware, RF and System engineers in developing, prototyping, characterizing, and troubleshooting various components and subsystems.

Shift: Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM

Onsite 5 days a week

Location: Laval, QC

Responsibilities: 

• Building test setups and conduct radar tests outdoor.
• Building test jigs and cables.
• Documenting Engineering schematics, parts lists, and configurations
• Performing electronic repairs, modifications, and measurements.
• Troubleshooting and diagnose problems using schematics.
• Performing work in accordance with quality and engineering standards
• Completing any other work-related task as directed by supervisor

Qualifications:  

• College degree in electronics or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in a technician role
• Knowledge of current technologies in electrical circuits, RF and small pitch components packages
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and SAP.
• Working knowledge of French and English
