Our client is a boutique Commercial Insurance Brokerage and are proud to be the #1 Brokerage in Canada as selected by Insurance Business Canada Magazine for 2021. They are looking for a Commercial Account Manager to join their team.

Shift: 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday
Location: Hybrid, Toronto, ON. 

SUMMARY OF ROLE:
Our client looking for someone to manage their commercial book of business. They are looking for individuals who have a drive to succeed, and the willingness to put in the time and effort needed to service their clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the commercial book of business by working directly with Producers and Insurance companies on our commercial accounts. Upgrade all the processes and procedures to help us adapt to the growth that our brokerage is experiencing.
• Take over the rebuilding and processing of the admin side of the company including review of renewals, endorsements, cancellations, billing, certificates, binders, quoting, cross-selling, up-selling and general inquiries including phone calls and emails.
• Represent our client at industry events, build relationships with the insurance carriers.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to new producers and other associates.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent customer service skills..
• 4-5 years of  insurance experience
• CIP or insurance designation preferred
• Demonstrated experience delivering superior customer service and attention to detail
• Valid Driver’s license, clean driving record and of course proof of insurance
