Our client, one of Canada’s most successful insurance firms, is currently recruiting for a Program Account Executive to join their team in the heart of Durham. The Program Account Executive role demands extensive experience in Commercial lines.

Location: Ajax, Ontario

Shift: Monday - Friday 

Summary: Permanent, Full-time 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Overseeing the renewal process for existing clients, including the preparation of renewal proposals.
• Compiling necessary documentation and completing applications for new customers.
• Offering advice on insurance matters and suggesting appropriate coverage options.
• Administering 3rd party financed premiums.
• Managing accounts receivable for agency bill policies.
• Handling claims submissions and follow-ups.
• Liaising with underwriters to negotiate policy terms for new business quotations, renewals, and endorsements.
• Staying updated on company underwriting guidelines.
• Delivering exceptional client service in a professional manner consistently.
• Increasing sales by cross-selling additional insurance products.
• Preparation and presentation of Program renewals.

Qualifications: 

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Strong and effective communication, both oral and written 
• Ability to compile information for reporting, client proposals and deliver presentations
• RIBO license required, Quebec license is considered an asset. 
• Over 5 years of insurance experience as a Commercial Account Manager 
• CAIB/CIP or CRM Certification would be an asset.
