CLAIMS ADJUSTER - Owen Sound

Summary of the Role-

Our Client is currently recruiting for a property and casualty Claims Adjuster to join our team in south western Ontario. This is a hybrid role with a combination of work from home and field work. Candidates must reside in the Owen Sound region to handle field claims in person.

The successful candidate will investigate, evaluate, negotiate and settle property and casualty claims. The candidate will participate in ensuring accurate recording, reporting, and presentation of files. 

Qualifications: 

  • Experience handling property and casualty claims or multi-lines 
  • Post-secondary education in an insurance related field working towards full license and CIP designation is an asset
  • Proficient in CMS, including maintaining accurate and detailed activity, transaction and reserve records 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be a team player with a strong commitment to quality and customer service
