Job Description
Codeworks, an LRS company, is seeking a Software Developer for a contract opportunity. This role offers the chance to apply your technical expertise in support of meaningful and impactful work for one of our client partners.
Our client is seeking a Software Developer with experience in building modern, scalable applications using C#, .NET, containerization, and microservice‑based architectures. In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse technical team to design, build, and maintain high‑quality software solutions. You will work with RESTful APIs, relational and NoSQL databases, and CI/CD tooling while contributing to an Agile development environment.
- 4+ years of professional software development experience (or comparable experience gained through work, military service, open‑source contributions, or related pathways).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency with C# and the .NET framework/.NET Core.
- Experience containerizing applications with Docker on Linux.
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (e.g., stored procedures, data modeling, transactional workflows).
- Experience with PostgreSQL.
- Experience building applications using microservices and containers.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, Jira, and Jenkins CI.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across functions and locations.
