Job Description

LRS is seeking a GDPR Compliance Lead to support an international customer in achieving and maintaining GDPR compliance. This role partners closely with our vCISO team, which owns overall governance and strategy, while you focus on execution and delivery.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys driving work forward, coordinating across teams, and turning regulatory requirements into practical outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead execution of GDPR compliance activities from start to finish
  • Manage project plans, milestones, and deliverables
  • Coordinate across IT, security, legal, privacy, and business teams
  • Lead data discovery and data mapping efforts
  • Develop and maintain GDPR artifacts (RoPA, data inventories, data flows)
  • Support implementation of GDPR operational requirements, including DSARs, retention, lawful basis, and breach workflows
  • Coordinate remediation efforts and vendor/processor assessments

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years in privacy, data protection, or compliance-focused roles
  • Hands-on GDPR compliance experience
  • Strong understanding of GDPR principles, data subject rights, and data handling
  • Experience leading complex compliance or security-related projects
  • Strong communication and documentation skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting international organizations
  • Familiarity with frameworks like ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST CSF, or NIS2
  • Experience with privacy tooling (RoPA, DSAR, data discovery
  • Relevant certifications (CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, CISSP, CISM)
The base range for this contract position is $70 - $80 per hour, depending on experience.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
