We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong experience in GitLab CI, Python automation, Linux, containers/Kubernetes, and the Java ecosystem. This role focuses on building reliable CI/CD processes, supporting development teams, and maintaining stable, scalable environments.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI
• Develop automation scripts and tooling in Python
• Manage Linux-based systems and containerized environments
• Deploy and support applications running in Kubernetes
• Support builds, deployments, and runtime needs within the Java ecosystem (Spring Boot, Maven/Gradle, JVM)
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting
• Troubleshoot environment, pipeline, and deployment issues
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline releases and improve reliability

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Solid background in Linux administration
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with the Java ecosystem and related build tools
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Terraform, Helm, or Ansible
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK/Splunk
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and security best practices

The base range for this contract position is $70.00 - $100.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
